Hi, I apologise for using the site for this question but I'n having difficulty finding an account in Devon or Cornwall who is happy to process accounts from VT Cashbook. I've been using VT for years and find it easy and practical to use and don't want to go to the trouble of buying and relearning a system. If anybody can recommend an accountant in the Devon or Cornwall area who recognizes VT Cashbook please let me know. Thanks

Are you telling me that you have approached accountants to take on your business and they have refused to do so on the basis that you use VT cashbook for your book-keeping?
Pretty much - I've used the same accountants for years but they've been taken over by a bigger company and the quote my contact gave me by email was "Our office is not familiar with and do not have access to VT Cash Book ......." Funny as they'd prepared my previous years accounts using VT.
They are just using VT as an excuse. Your client profile no longer fits the practice.
You won't have a problem finding another local accountant to take you on.
If you are looking for an accountant to complete your self assessment before 31st January, you might struggle. But that would be your own fault for leaving things this late.
