Accounting software for Macs

Accounting software for Macs

Didn't find your answer?

I have a client that is looking for some non cloud based software to run on a Mac - has anyone got any recommendations?

Solar Accounts is available for the Mac here: http://www.solaraccounts.co.uk/  I don't use it but did download the trial version for the Mac and was rather impressed.

Lion

I don't know, I was running Snow Leopard when I tested it - it is available as a free trial so no harm in trying.

Run windows programs on Macs

Hi - If Solar doesn't suit, has your client considered running windows programs on the Mac?  There have been several threads on here over the past year as people discover the benefits of Macs and, with Macs now using intel chips, there are a number of ways to run windows programs.

I've not done it but "VMWARE fusion" is most mentioned on here, as well as "Parallels".

Quickbooks have a Mac version which I am looking into at the moment. Don't have any "real-life" experience of it yet but it seems to fit the bill.
