Alternative valuation models for private companies

Alternative valuation models for private companies

Didn't find your answer?

I 'm trying to value a private limited company, that was created by hiving off the trading activity of another organisation.

There's the 'net assets' method and the 'dividend yield' method, neither of which are appropriate in this case.  Then there's the 'future maintanable earnings' method.

Are there any other methods I should be thinking of?

There are actually quite a lot of ways it could be done. We have the more popular ones in our Business Valuation System (Excel Template) so you're more than welcome to download the trial to see a sample those.
