I have been asked for advice from a non UK resident. The advice is probably a one off. Should a letter of engagement be issued? The advice is needed quite urgently and I would not be able to send out & receive the signed letter before they need the advice.
Also what money laundering checks can I carry out when they are in a different country? How do i get them to bring in original evidence? The contact was made via a family friend of theirs who I have known for a number of years.
