Hi everyone
I had a meeting with a client who is a therapist this morning and we were discussing allowable and non allowable expenses.
She can regularly incur costs which I would normally consider as entertainment or having a duality of purpose - and would therefore consider as not allowable. However as part of the therapy she offers, she often takes clients to coffe, out for meals or on different social occassions. This kind of treatment is called "behavioural activation" and forms part of an excepted and highly regarded approach to therapy - especially in cases of social anxiety. She only ever pays for herself and never the client. In these cases - I would argue that these expenses are allowable - does anyone have a different take?
Many thanks
