Bright Pay Advert!

Bright Pay Advert!

Didn't find your answer?

BP has the cheek to put their advert, without my permission about BP Cloud, on my paid for desktop BP!

Most of you maybe okay with this. I am NOT.

They said if I press  Shift + F5, advert will be removed. I have to do this each time I launch BP.

I would understand if the software was free. I paid for ad free software.

BP this is unethical business practice. As I mentioned in my email, I will email you my invoice for you placing an unauthorised  advert on my license!

If you already pay for BP, it is technically more of a notification of a new service, than a hard sell advertisement.

Why do you think it is unethical? It seems like a rather bizarre statement for you to make.

Your comment about invoicing them is amusing. You seem to think that BP will not have this covered in their terms & conditions.
I hope they invoice you for wasting their time with childish complaints.

I feel like this is a good opportunity to post this. I came a Youtube video yesterday that reminded me of you and Peter Saxton:

Its impossible to win with you Firsttab.

If they did not inform you of new developments within the software you would have a go at them for not supporting you.

Because they have wasted your time by looking at an advert or further information which you may use you are also unhappy with them.

I suspect you send unsolicitored marketing to clients or use google ads which some could see as an annoyance.

I would suggest you have wasted more time complaining and raising invoices to BP than it would have been to read it then close it down.

The adverts dont appear on my BP, they must do it to you as they know you will bite.

The way I see it, you rent the software off them, so they can do as they please.

It IS an advert and NOT a notification. The same type of adverts you see on mobile phone apps. You pay to have them removed.

There is nothing wrong with my post. The compliant is well justified. I cannot let any software company get away with this. They did not have my permission to put an advert on paid software.

The fact that the respondents do not agree with my view does not in anyway demean my opinion.

I will continue to make this type of posts where I think it is appropriate.

As regards to Google adverts, Google is providing me the search facility without charging me, so I see them as justified adverts since I am not paying. The same principle applies to AW.

What can I is say to a statement like "this they must do it to you as they know you will bite" and "my post takes the biscuit for idiocy". .

I am moving on from BP, credit to them for being amicable.

This is my last word on this thread. Reading the comments made, there is not much point in responding further.

Most of your questions seem to end up this way. Have you ever stopped to wonder why?

A couple of quick questions for you. Did Brightpay do the job that you bought it for well? Did the "advert" significantly impede your ability to get that job done?

If the answer is yes to the first and no to the second, then you have just provided a prime example of cutting off your own nose to spite your face.

Firsty, you are one of those people who will never be happy in life and you'd be on here quick as a flash to complain about them not telling you of a new product or feature!

Life is too short to worry about it though and just get back to looking at your imaginary £170k!

"They did not have my permission to put an advert on paid software"
Read the terms and conditions. You will more than likely find that they did have your permission.

"The fact that the respondents do not agree with my view does not in anyway demean my opinion."
Nor does it mean that your opinion is any less stupid than first thought.

"As regards to Google adverts, Google is providing me the search facility without charging me, so I see them as justified adverts since I am not paying."
It isn't free. As we speak, your search history is having a good going over by the NSA.

"I am moving on from BP, credit to them for being amicable."
What is BP's gain, is Moneysofts loss.

"This is my last word on this thread. Reading the comments made, there is not much point in responding further."
Throughout life I have found that people often have differing opinions on different subject matters. I've also found that some people will always act like a spoilt child if someone doesn't agree with them.

Seriously First Tab, why do you seek answers and agreement from the very people you despise so much?

I paid to go to the cinema the other day, and the gits bombarded me with adverts for future films.

I sent them a bill for my time a while ago but haven't had a reply yet. Must have got lost in the post.

If you are moving away from Brightpay (IMO if thats still allowed) the best software product available because of this, then that is the most ridiculous business decision I have ever heard. You are totally unreasonable, and for someone who wants to be a marketing legend clearly clueless on the matter.

The suppliers you go through which end in broken relationships is amazing, I am suprised you are not black listed by them now.

If you tried to up sell an additional service to you paying clients and they chose not to have it would you expect them to react in the same way you have.

They are advising of additional facilities available which can be add ons for your clients its not like they are using the space to advertise "Honest Johns Car Lot"

I bet they are all sitting around in their office belly aching if you have called up to cancel for that.

"Throughout life I have found that people often have differing opinions on different subject matters. I've also found that some people will always act like a spoilt child if someone doesn't agree with them."

If the cap fits FT.

First Tab,

So, you're not happy with Brightpay? That's fine. Do you really think that Brightpay is interested in you, as an individual? No, you're just a number, part of their mechanism, just like the rest of their client's.

Many of us have made representation to the editorial team and publishers of Aweb. It's proved to be wasted energy - fruitless.

We're all just numbers and we're doomed.

What I like about First Tab is his odd outlook in life. It just brings a smile to my face.

Most accountancy firms pick one, or both of the below SIC codes for their company.
69201 - Accounting and auditing activities
69203 – Tax consultancy

Not First Tab. He picked:
63990 - Other information service activities not elsewhere classified

Given his drive to do anything but accountancy and tax, I’m surprised he didn’t pick:
73110 - Advertising agencies

Ha ha Cheeky,

The names Tab, First Tab - 0069 Licenced to do payroll.

Although I am not anymore as I spat the dummy out half way through a tax year, now I am having to re input all clients payroll into another system at great time and expense but I have shown Brightly a total lesson in how to run their business.
