Once you've added your suggestions here, can I recommend a visit to the Budget discussion group on AccountingWEB.co.uk?
Already more than 200 members have joined the forum, in which we will be posting predictions and commentary from within the community and from external experts and accountancy firms.
A lot of the measures have been previewed in Finance Bill 2011 draft clauses, but TAXtv's Giles Mooney told me last night that he thought these represented only half of what may emerge on the 23rd. His prediction was for changes to capital taxes "possibly even old favourites such as PPR".
No big surprises?
I'm not sure there will be any big surprises this year, as so much has already been announced. One thing I am interested in is the Lib-Dem objective of individuals not paying tax until they earn over £10,000. Will this mean a personal allowance increase, and can the coalition government afford a giveaway of this nature?
I'm looking forward to the annoucement on overseas branch exemption.
And I suppose the reduction of the CT rate to 26% in 2012 will be announced... groan more tax accounting nightmares for some of us.
