Capital Allowances on residential to commerical

Can company claim capital allowances on fittings etc on a Care Home purchase that was residential

Didn't find your answer?

A company has purchased at market value (from a Director) a residential property to be used as a Care Home.

Stamp duty was paid at the commercial property rate.

Can they claim capital allowances on fittings etc on the property (assume that they can get written statements from the Director re amounts, purchase apportionment etc).?
