CIS refund part way through the year

CIS refund part way through the year

Didn't find your answer?

a painter/decorator client who i just met wants to claim back (part way through the year) the cis tax he has paid as he wants to go to Uganda for 6 months. He earnt around 8K and paid 20% on this so he is due a refund. He wants the money to have funds to buy the air fare. Apparently his mate gets refunds every 6 months?!

is this simply pub talk or am i missing something? can it be done and how?

thanks in advance for your comments and apologies if i am wasting your time, which i think i am!
