Company Filing

Company Filing

Didn't find your answer?

Hi there

I hope someone can explain to me the process of filing accounts and annual returns in the UK.

I am ROI based and have just been approached by a very small limited company in the UK.

Can you give me some information re corpration tax and annual return filing.

I see that I can file the corporation tax online, and also send abbreviated accounts to companies house through

HMRC.

What about Annual Return filing? Can I register as an agent and get authorisation to file multiple companies (in case I get more)

How do I do this? The web based filing seems to be just for one company and when I tried to get a number sent to me, it told me one was already issed for this client!

Apologies if these questions are very basic!

You are correct about filing Corporation tax and abbreviated accounst online through the HMRC site.

You can set yourself up as an agent with them (HMRC) and administer this company and others through that system

You will need the company's authentication code from Companies House

You can also set yourself up as an agent with Companies House and by using each company's authentication code you can file annual returns. You will alos be able to change registered address, inform of new/leaving directors, change accounting ref date etc

Once set up the process is easy and straightforward
