I only deal with a handful of companies and so my use of HMRC's online system for companies is very sparadic.
In previous years when I have filed the CT600 with ixbrl version of tax comp and accounts using third party software I received a notification from HMRC's system along the lines of we have received your client's CT600 and it is being processeed.
This year the message has changed to read "HMRC has received the submission for xxxxxxxx. It will be processed depending on further validation checks. This usually takes 2 working days and you can check the progress for the return period in the Corporation Tax section of the company's online tax account.
All parts of the Company Tax Return must be propert and complete and the content must be viewable by HMRC officers. HMRC can't confirm that this submission meets tht requirement until we've processed it and will notify you at a later date if the submission is not a valid Company Tax Return.
........"
Is the above the new "standard" response?
I have checked online, having logged in to my agent online account with HMRC, to find tht they have the correct amount of tax showing for the accounting period in question but I do not seem to be able to find anywhere within the system to see what date the return was received or indeed whether it has been accepted.
Can members point me in the right direction please.

Drill down from the tax liability and it will show you the date the charge was amended/created
