Corporation tax submission in respect of a not-for-profit

Corporation tax submission in respect of a not...

Didn't find your answer?

Can someone please confirm that when submitting a CT600 relating to a not-for-profit company limited by guaurantee, I don't tick the box to say that its a 'members club or voluntary association'.

I think I have this right, but would like it confirmed.  Thanks.

Which box is that?

I cannot find it on a CT600 form, but why would you even think of ticking a box to say that you are a 'members club or voluntary association' if you are not?

If you are a limited company, you are certainly not a voluntary association.  I suppose you could be a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee which is a members club, but surely you know what the company does.

Not-for-profit

It is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee.  It carries out research work and campaigns for a certain section of society.  It is paid for its research work, which is how it funds itself.  I am really asking, is this what is meant in the tick the box section 'company type.'  No. 6 is member's club or voluntary association.  To me anything termed an association doesn't sound like it relates to an incorporated body.  I'm probably over-thinking this
