My flabber has been ghasted!
VAT application was submitted online 22/08/11.
I received VAT 4 in the post today, issued 24/08/11.
However, nothing yet on the one submitted 16/08/11, some you win...

New employee
I'm guessing some stupid new employee took your VAT application from the daily post, rather than taking the lift down to the basement, getting the monorail down tunnel C and retrieving the oldest outstanding application....
Sounds like they're getting their act together
I've registered over a dozen traders in the last month - only one has met with a request for further info (it was expected) and the others all registered within a week.
