Cycle to work scheme again...

Cycle to work scheme again...

Didn't find your answer?

I'm a circus performer and my employer runs a salary sacrifice cycle to work scheme.  I've applied to join, but the administrators say that the monocyle that I want doesn't qualify.  I thought the scheme applied to "cycles".  Have they got it wrong?

Hehe

I see no mention of BIcycles in the rules, just cycles... :)

But I can't find any definition of a cycle.

Cycle to Work?

Would you genuinely cycle to work on a regular basis on a monocycle?

Oh Yes

It's downhill all the way, although if there's enough snow I might ski in.

This made me laugh. I needed this after reading single minded posts one of my threads.

I thought the term was 'unicycle'

Yes

The European equivalent of the the Japanese patented monocycle is, indeed, called a unicycle.  I prefer the Japanese version though.

But the Japanese version has the controls on the wrong side.

I probably should also have mentioned

One of the reasons for my preferring the Japanese version is that I'm left-handed.
