Hello
Toying with the idea of using SMS alongside email to send clients deadline dates etc via text.
Has anyone got a similar system and if so, is it effective? Who are the best providers? Any other considerations? (Ethical/professional?).
Many thanks

Firstly, take a look at your software suppliers partner/app centre and see if there is anything that integrates with what you currently use- integrated services excel here.
I've used TextAnywhere with a similar setup- it's basic, but good and reliable.
In terms of use, SMS work well for short messages, with email or snail mail for longer communication. e.g. Text to say you pay has been processed, email to send a payslip. You would have to give your clients the ability to opt out of text messages- other than that you shouldn't encounter any issues.
