Financial fraud & auditors' liability

Financial fraud & auditors' liability

Didn't find your answer?

I am engaged on a post-graduate research degree. The subject matter of my research / thesis is Financial Fraud & Auditors' Liability.
In an attempt to cover as wide a range as possible of related literature can any subscriber suggest appropriate publications and or articles giving details of either major or minor fraud cases.
Any assistance with the above would be much appreciated.

Fraud Cases
It may be that you have already disgarded this source - but I am aware that the Law Society Gazette has a section on Fraud - this does cover quite a few cases - as some solicitors do practice in financial services too - so you may find some interesting cases in there.

Fraud investigators
As well as reading articles it may help your thesis if you spoke to some fraud investigators for their perspective. One organisation that springs to mind is Investigative Data Mining Ltd who have just run a seminar on Risk Based Auditing and it's links to fraud risk.
