Grossing up for DLA write off?

No longer required?

Didn't find your answer?

Please can someone confirm, now that there are no longer div tax credits, the requirement to gross up (for NIC calc) any DLA loan write off has also gone away?

Am running some numbers and need to confirm this...

Thankyou in advance!

Why are you calculating NIC on a DLA write off?

Is that an attempt at an answer to my question?

I think Ruddles's point is that you should wait for HMRC to argue that the loan waiver is disguised remuneration, not offer your client's head on a plate to them.

And when did you ever need to gross it up?

And if you were going to continue to gross it up, at what rate?
