Have I fluked a break here?

Didn't find your answer?

Client came to me to discuss SA 2011/12. Now overseas. I need further info. SA1 submitted October 2012, no Notice to File provided and agreed status to HMRC online services....

Do I now have more time e.g. 3 months from issue of filing notice?

Yes to more time

If no notice to file has yet been issued, you will have three months to submit an online return (or two months for paper) from the date the notice is issued with no penalties.

Penalties (Interest and surcharges) may still be made by HMRC on any tax not received on time though so, unless a repayment situation, payment still needs to be made by your client.
