Help me with an ethical question

My wife says that if I get home for 4.30 (no later) we can have a go at trying for baby number 2.

But I'm 5% off finishing 3 tax returns and could do with just 15 minutes more in the office.

I'm in a bit of a quandry......................

Should I stay or should I go now?

i could do both

I could probably make love to my wife twice and do 3 tax returns in 15 minutes.

LOL

Go Go Go

If you stay there will be trouble, if you go your kids will double.

Subcontract

Have you never heard of subcontracting?

You stay and do the tax returns.  Send me your wife's number and I will deal with the rest for you ;-)

Better still

tell her to drive to you as you've always dreamed of flinging her across your desk (you're an accountant, she'll believe it!) - that way you get your 15 minutes while she's in the car and you get the satisfaction of attempting to add to the overcrowding problem when she arrives. Best of both worlds, put my cheque in the post!

(I used to dream about flinging my ex-boss across the desk, and up against the filing cabinet - does that make me twice the accountant or regretting those two large glasses of wine I just had?!)

Don't you think the rest of the staff in his office might object ?  (or film it).

I went home.

I was splendid.

Would have, ahem, taken longer but my mind was excited with QCBs and AIAs and ER and it was over nearly before it started.

TV at 5.10 was ITV3 and Joe McGann in The Upper Hand from 1990.

Dilemma

Does one stay at work and earn enough money to forfeit the child tax benefits or go home and procreate, and thereby claim even more from the Government. Discuss.

I don't claim CTC. It's all about self respect. We probably do qualify but don't wanna.
