For two my clients I have received a HMRC 7 day reminder to input the authorisation code to act as their agent. Both the clients have not received their codes. For another client I input the code days ago but still got a 7day reminder.
Anyone else experiencing the same? Anything that could be done about this?
Thanks

Not only "not fit for purpose" but unfit for any purpose.
This has been going on for over a year. We've had several codes arrive well after the expiry date of the code.
I'm afraid its just another example of HMRCs gross incompetence. All you can do is complain.
Presumably down to
centralised print & post? Explaining why letters arrive dated up to two or more weeks previously. It's not right and really should be looked into
The course of true love never runs smoothly!!
I've had 2 cases very recently where the client received the SA Authorisation code and I entered it on to the system. However, although my 64-8 details were on the HMRC screens (so they could talk to me) I didn't have access to the clients' online accounts. It took a phone call to the online helpdesk for details to appear on screen about 4 days later.
Also another client never received the authorisation code. I just had to bite the bullet and apply for another code.
That's the way it goes I'm afraid.
You've not seen anything yet
If you think it's bad now wait until next year when it will be even worse.
