Hi All,
I've been trying to log in into my self assessment account. I have no issues in receiving the six digit code into my phone. When I enter the code on the website, the website says that its unable to verify my ID and I need to contact HMRC.
I've contacted the Self Assessment helpline and they say that it is a known issue but are unable to inform me of when will it be fixed. Anyone experiencing similar issues? Or would anyone know an alternative to log in to HMRC using the "old" website?

Like most new software, it's rubbish.
Go back to using a proper computer until they get it fixed. They're just using you as a guinea pig.

Would you like to elaborate on "go back to using a propert computer"?
Certainly. One that's not your phone.
This is new software, it clearly doesn't work. Let them fix it but in the meantime use a laptop.
