Is it possible to restate a comparative?

Is it possible to restate a comparative?

Didn't find your answer?

In preparing the 2016 accounts for a client I have realised that the Directors' remuneration includes employer's NI in error.  Is it possible to restate the 2015 comparative to remove the employer's NI?

This will make it more comparable to the 2016 remuneration but would I have to disclose that I am restating the comparative?

Thanks

Yes.

We'll all be restating comparatives when we switch to FRS 102/105.

I have just completed my first one (moved early re a 31.12.15 YE) so running a tad tight to deadline.

The software (Taxcalc) I am using has a handy note that one can edit covering FRSSE/FRS102 transition disclosure/adjustments, despite my prior uncertainty/nervousness it was not that bad; I even resisted asking questions on here to force myself to learn what I was doing rather than take the easy option of putting up my hand.

Yes
1 - easy if old fashioned - use Tippex
2 - harder - go into the software and plod around until you find out how.
