I wonder it anyone else has suffered this problem?

I applied, online, for a client authorisation. Client eventually reeceived the standard code letter. I entered it ito HMRC's online system; some little time later went to check. Vanished!

In some cases it is necessary for the agent to take a further step, ie. log onto www.gateway.gov.uk (using usual HMRC agent log on criteria) and click on "Manage Clients" to "assign" to a recently athorised client.
