Opening up Bank Accounts for New Companies.

How do you open accounts quickly.

Didn't find your answer?

I have been building a relationship with a local employment agent which is beginning to pay dividends for me, as they are now referring all the workers to me who wish to provide their services via a company. I am now getting 2/3 new clients per month as contracts are starting to take off now.

I use companies house to set companies up. The problem I am having is opening bank accounts up quickly. I operate in Co Durham as its not a big city most of the banks do not have a dedicated business bank manager and so work between 3 or 4 branches. So getting an account opening appointment can take 4 weeks with the account opening 7-10 days later.

so really from initial instruction to having everything in place can take 6 weeks plus so they either have to hold invoicing for that time or go through an umbrella set up which is not ideal.

does anyone know any banks who do the new account more quickly. I notice some formation agents include a free bank account as part of what they do. How does this work as surely the client would still have to go to a bank and do the AML and ID stuff.

have any of you managed to get an arrangement with a local bank that would fast track applications for your clients.

Thanks in Advance of your comments.
