Outlook bcc

Outlook bcc

Didn't find your answer?

Large number of e-mail addresses have been entered on a draft e-mail as bcc

Is there a way of getting a list of these e-mail addresses into Excel or similar programme to double check against master list?

TIA

One Solution..

Ok, I tried this out and it works.  Hope this is the kind of answer you are looking for.

Highlight the entire CONTENTS of the BCC field, and COPY that into your Clipboard.

Open NOTEPAD and PASTE the contents in there.

Click EDIT and choose REPLACE, then replace every instance of a semi-colon (;) with a comma (,)

Click FILE and choose SAVE AS and change the TYPE option at the bottom to ALL FILES (*.*) then save it as a file on your desktop, calling it something like EMAILS.CSV

You'll see the EMAILS.CSV file on your desktop now and will notice it has an excel icon, as it's been saved as a COMMA SEPARATED VALUE file.

Double click this file and it should open up in Excel with all the emails in their own cell.

A bit long winded, but it's a freebie, so hope it works for you ;)

Have a lovely weekend.

Long winded, but I admire its logic :)
