P11D and Self Assessment 2014-15

P11D and Self Assessment 2014-15

Didn't find your answer?

Hi. I have to fill out my first tax return online and need some advice if possible. I work full time and have only 2 documents, a P11D and a P60. The P11D includes items which were incurred wholly for business purposes but have been included as my employer says they do not have a dispensation. If I enter these expenses on the return I will be taxed on them. Can someone please advise as to how I deal with this to ensure that I don't get taxed on these expenses.  Any help appreciated.

You should enter the amounts that were wholly for business purposes in boxes 17 to 20 of the employment pages of the return, and then you won't be taxed on them (I assume you didn't derive any benefits from them)
