P11Ds and NIC

P11Ds and NIC

Didn't find your answer?

Employee (of a UK company) works in Europe and is resident there (ie not UK resident) but employer pays for medical insurance cover in the UK. Is this reportable on a P11D?

If this is reportable, is NIC1A payable as the total UK income would be less than £4000

While we are on that are other benefits provided in the other country reportable on a P11D?

Would the situation be different if the employee was a director of the UK company?

And just for information I know the P11D filing deadline!

Non UK earnings

As a non-resident. not working in the UK. he is presumably not paying UK tax on his earnings, so logically would not pay tax on the medical benefit which is part of his remuneration package - in that case there would seem to be no need to report on P11d
