pension contribution for director

pension contribution for director

Didn't find your answer?

director resides abroad and does some work for his dad's small company. He does not get a salary but his dad would like to make contributions to a pension plan for him via the company.

Any tax/legal issues with this? The other directors get salaries and dividends as they are shareholders too.

many thanks

I have found this

http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/practitioners/registered-pensions.htm

still reading it but say for example if one director (a different son) gets 5000 in salary, can we elect to put 5000 in the son's pension instead of salary?

Did anyone have a similar case?
