£000's in ixbrl vs £ in tax comp

Didn't find your answer?

We report our financial statements in £000's due to the size of the companies.  However, our tax computations & returns are reported in £s.  Does anyone know if this will cause a validation problem with HMRC when filing our ixbrl filings?  Or do we need to elect to file our tax computations & returns in £000s?

No problem

The only check made by HMRC's computers between the iXBRL accounts and the CT600 is that the company registration number agrees. There are no automatic checks between the iXBRL accounts and the iXBRL computation. Hence there can be no validation problem.
