I know one small hotel that uses QB for their client billing. For that it's fine but of course there is no integration with room bookings, bar systems, etc, so everything is manual entry with all the duplication of effort and risk of error that is entailed in that.

Size of hotel
If it is a small hotel say 12 rooms or less then QB is fine, and also restaurant, bar and other facilities that it might have. Size is important (excuse the pun) in deciding what accounting software should be used in the hotel. There are some very good providers specifically for hotels and guest houses of accountancy software that can grow with the business, even if they have to find bigger premises. Used Sage once for a small hotel, but it had income streams from telephone, laundry, multi bars, restaurants and function rooms and it did struggle. Make sure you know accounting principles for hotels in making your decision. The Institute of Hospitality can provide assistance.
