We are getting more and more client to do their own bookkeeping, using VT cash book or Xero. This means they need support in early stages.
We are thinking about training and refresher training by making use of IT. We are intending to use join me (on line desktop sharing). This is free for one to one use. The convenience of using remote training from client side and our side is massive. We should have thought about this far earlier.
We are not IT savvy. We would be grateful for ideas on:
- For speech, is telephone handset be the best? Any other alternatives?
- We have seen some training videos on you tube that have a small picture at the bottom of the screen of the person training. We think this may be a good idea. How do we go about doing this?

Skype
A suggestion could be to use a Skype video call at the same time. You would be able to chat with your client and it is free of charge.
