Residential property let - 10% wear and tear allowance

Residential property let - 10% wear and tear...

Didn't find your answer?

My client lets two residential properties. They are unfurnished apart from white goods.

Can I claim the 10% wear and tear allowance for the white goods etc

or can I claim relief for replacement white goods any other way?

Thanks

No..

You can't claim the 10% wear and tear because the properties are unfurnished.

But you can claim full deduction for replacement white goods on the renewals basis.
