Sage question

Sage question

Didn't find your answer?

I am using Sage Instant version 15 and have recently upgraded my computer to Windows 7.

All seems to be working ok but i have noticed that when i run a report (TB, P&L or Balance sheet) it does not save it.  I go through the usual steps - Export and save as a PDF in the folder of my choice, it does not say there is a problem but when i go to the folder the saved report is not there or anywhere else on my computer.  I have tried reinstalling Sage but the problem persists.

Does anyone know if this is a Windows 7 problem or if there could be another cause, also how i can fix this?

Thanks

Updated PDF driver

I have seen this one as well - you could try downloading the updated PDF driver from the Sage support site (it is dated 28 July 2010)

The other possibility is that you do not have rights over the folder that Sage is trying to save to, but I would try the driver update first

Thanks for your help

Thanks Chris for your input, you were right that i needed an update.  Just in case anyone else has the same problem, here is what I did:

Go to www.sage.co.uk/accountsupdates

Select version of Sage you are using

Download : reportdesigner service pack 1.3.2011 version 15

Save this update before you run it as you may need to reinstall Sage in the future and this will save having to download update again.

Double click on update to run it

Problem sorted
