Scheduel A losses on CT600

Scheduel A losses on CT600

Didn't find your answer?

Until this year, when lodging CT600 I have attached PDF version of Tax Computation showing Schedule A losses carried forward as well as in the year.

This year however, I can't see how to show this in IXBRL. Should I be posting the losses carried forward somewhere on  the short version of CT600 instead of just in the year. I have completely confused myself.

Short version?

Can you bring forward property losses on the short version?

Computation
There's box 127 but that just says property losses

Why don't you use commercial software then you don't have to worry about it?

SChedule A Losses

Thanks,

I am using Taxcalc, but as you say, the only box appears to be 127 and I started to think maybe I was missing something. The more I thought about it, the more I confused myself.

Did wonder if it was shown on short version per other answer to my query. Up until now I have sent Tax Comp so did not think anything about it.

No entry

There is no box on the return for carried forward losses. It isn't needed.
