Small companies and debt

Small companies and debt

Didn't find your answer?

What would a small UK based business do who is who is unable to pay a massive debt to an American company who did not adhere to their agreement. A contract was signed at the time but what rights do they have to dispute the debt? They were sent monthly invoices but were never chased.

Ask a solicitor for advice based on the terms of the contract. This should be done quickly as US companies are very good at starting litigation on a "suck it & see basis".and certainly before any of the directors visit the US .
