Company in Southern Ireland owes us money. Owner of the company keeps promising a cheque, but never raises it. I'm presuming I can't recover the debt via the usual County Court action, so can anyone advise me what options are open to me to recover this money?
Thanks in advance for any replies

Consult an Irish Lawyer....
Lesley- the Irish are a very relaxed nation when it comes to applying the law. I have had legal dealings in the South and they moved very slowly indeed. I would suggest that you employ a lawyer or debt collection agency in the South - the threat of action in their own country might concentrate the mind of the owner to pay up. A google search will give you a number of options available
