TDF (True Data Filer)

TDF (True Data Filer)

Didn't find your answer?

I had pretty much made my mind up to use this product for web-filing at Companies House as the blurb sounds perfect for my needs. It has a dynamic link to all your clients records at CH, one touch filing for all forms and accounts, apporved by Companies House etc. The thing is, over the last two weeks I have sent them two separate emails asking product related questions (including why doesn't your trial version work) and each time they have taken 3 or more days to come back. I am thinking that if this is how they deal with potential customers I wonder what their ongoing support is like!

Any experience to share?

Tried it

I tried the trial and it did work. Company names have to be identical to companies house. Limited/Ltd needs to be inserted as appropriate. I didn't buy a subscription. We just use companies house online filing. I think I was put off by the fact it seems that some one has written it them selves (very clever) but doesnt seem to have the support of a "proper" software company.

and.....

my machine reported a virus immediately after downloading the trial - not saying it was the software - but I did wonder. So that put me off it as well.

Virus ...

Yes, on first attempt Norton quarantined the .exe file as 'less than 10 (norton) users had downloaded the file'. All negatives at the moment!
