White Finger Compensation

White Finger Compensation

Didn't find your answer?

Hi

Client receives white finger compensation weekly after many years down the pit. He been receiving since 2000 and became a client last yr when he became a partner in an existing client's business. He didn't mention it for the 2009/10 return but happened to mention this year! I've done a bit of research but yet to find the taxable position on it.

Being compensation I wld have thought it was not taxable but is it taxable?

Regards

Mark

I'd say that it was exempt

By virtue of S.731 ITTOIA 2005.
