£250 for online filing

£250 for online filing

Didn't find your answer?

Back in November, when I was formally notified that a number of clients' 2004/05 Employer's Annual Returns, filed online, had been accepted, I wrote off to claim the £250 to be refunded by cheque (there being no payments in 2005/06 to deduct it from). Since then I have heard nothing.
Does anyone know the current position regarding these repayments?

Write & complain
Get really arsey with them and you'll get your cheques - worked for me!

A few weeks ago
I received £250 cheques for my clients back in mid November. However, one further cheque I was expecting has been offset against 'arrears' of PAYE - which rather surprised both myself and my client - as neither of us even knew there were 'arrears'!!

I shall take the matter up with the Revenue in early February once the SA season has quietened down.

you will get it..........eventually
We had a similar situation but the cheques for £250 have (very slowly!) started to trickle through - one or two directly to the client and some to us following submission of R38.

It is, however, taking a several weeks. Apparently they have a 'bit of a backlog'
