Absolutely Everything

Absolutely Everything

Didn't find your answer?

Hi

We're thinking of changing software providers (mainly due to price) to Absolutely Everything accounts and tax package. I was wondering if anyone out there has any experience of this package/any comments good or bad?

Thanks

Absolutely

We've been using it since last November and are really pleased with it, it's still being developed so has one or two glitches but the support is great, they sort the problems promptly, we are submitting accs to co house and accs and comps to HMRC electronically, which is a great time saver, so all in all we would recommend it.

Looks interesting

I am in a three yesr deal with a supplier already but I must admit I might have been tempted to take a look at this one. Good to see Tim Good back in the software game!

Absolutely Everything - except real time telephone support

I to am new to the software. I find it very good, as is the support when you can get it.

I have placed two calls today and am still waiting for a call back. Similar thing happened a couple of weeks ago and, when I did get a call back, was told that the operative had limited time because he was due to go into a meeting.

Don't get me wrong, I like the product and staff but, being used to Iris, can't imagine this sort of thing happening there. I suppose you get what you pay for at the end of the day.

I am using Absolute now

In fairness to Absolute, I think all of the software houses are a little overwhelmed at the moment - we all waited until the end of Jan and then decided to "sort out this xbrl thingy" and flooded them  in the process.  I am reasonably confident that a good response time will be restored in Absolute shortly (Tim, please note).

Their software does have a few glitches in it but they have been working hard to resolve these when I have raised anything I have found, and I have managed to file a few accounts with both HMRC and Companies House on line now.  It is not as streamline as some of the other packages, but once you start to get into their way of thinking, the accounts package seems to work well (haven't tried personal tax yet)

Email me if you are not getting a response

I am sorry that Peter Grove did not get a more immediate response from us. As taxhound suggests, we are a bit overwhelmed at the moment with huge interest coming from customers of some of our main competitors.  I have new staff joining on Monday to help us over the busy period (both, curiously, with the same surname as me!).

More seriously, if anyone is having trouble getting through or has any other gripe then email me direct ([email protected]). If I am lecturing I will get back to you at the next break, otherwise straightaway.
