Accounting package for self funded retirees

Accounting package for self funded retirees

Didn't find your answer?

Looking for an accounting package to support an individual investor receiving an income stream from investments. Desirable features:
Double entry - to minimize errors
Support share, bond investments
Support real estate investments
Depreciation incidental to real estate
Expenses incidental to real estate.
Support for VAT at basic level.
Able to reconcile to bank account.
The basic purpose is to have a package that will easily provide accurate records of income, with the usual checks - all depostits accounted for, comparison of income this year with corresponding last year, etc.

Remote bookkeeping and accounting
Are you an accountant or finance person? If so, the recommended packages may work well enough. Alternately, as Jay suggests a bookkeeper may be a better option.

We carry out accounts preparation at Pakistan rates for busy accountants in UK, USA and other western countries who pay expensive staff salaries.

If you like we can handle the bookkeeping and accounting for you by working remotely thru email or post (4 working days) or courier.

Best thig is to get a self employed book-keeper!

Software is one thing but you have to be pretty technical minded. Sage was supposed to be idiot proof accounting package and all the referal I get is to sort out the mess created by this software!

Nothing wrong with the clients because they buy what they are recommended to buy.

A book-keeper does not have to be local. These things can be done remotely as long as you have access to a fax machine, a post box, and an email.

The book-keeper can also liaise with your accountant if need be.

Hope this helps.
