Accounting/Billing Software for Retail Operation

Accounting/Billing Software for Retail Operation

Didn't find your answer?

Does anyone have any recommendations for an invoicing solution for a newly established retail shop?

The requirement is for a "reasonably" priced product that will allow the owner to raise invoices to customers who visit the shop, some will pay on the day, others at a future point in time?

As the business is VAT registered, VAT accounting is also mandatory.

Any suggestions?

What type of shop...
Ash,

There are a host of solutions out there - we offer three different routes depending on size, complexity and budget (from £399). I'd be surprised if any solution did not do VAT as standard given sales of most items to the public are VATable - but I'm willing to be corrected !

The choice of solution is generally between those that have the till and accounts system in one package, those that offer till systems that do a number of accounting functions and those that are really only tills. Your question of VAT accounting is relevant here as I'd expect all solutions to provide the raw data, but some (ie those with accounting) would do Debits and Credits to reflect the raw data, other merely provide a list or summary to back up the return

Correctly linking to the hardware is also a dividing point - slip printers, cash drawers, etc.

Get in touch

Kind Regards
