I've started filing abbreviated accounts online but have noted that the Companies House proforma still refers to the FRSSE for June 2002. The system is exceedingly slow and user unfriendly and certainly behaves as though it is several years old - does anyone know if any improvements are in the pipeline.
The FRSSE reference can be overtyped but it seems odd that Companies House is so out-of-date for something like accounts.

Sometime in 2008 ?
Hi Teresa
I understand that a new accounts stylesheet updating/correcting the FRSSE anomaly (and many other issues) will be released in 2008 - although the exact date is not yet known.
If you are looking for an alternative solution which overcomes the many problems of the Companies House template, take a look at TrueData Filer. This desktop package is used by an increasing number of accountants and other filers to e-file abbreviated and DCA accounts. It can be downloaded here and is free for 12 months (for up to 5 Companies).
