Has anyone found a supplier thats selling an AIA excel template to calculate AIA post 5 April 2008.
Would also be interested in any information of suppliers also selling tax computation templates as well.
Just started in practice and finding my way around still.

Excel Spreadsheet
I too have prepared a spreadsheet providing tables of the maximum AIA and WDA percentages for both Corporation Tax and Income Tax which work for all cases where the accounts span exactly one year.
I find that this saves me a fair amount of time and, if anyone wants a copy, please e-mail me at [email protected]. No charge!

Excel - hybrid WDA as well as AIA
I've drawn up my own Excel AIA and Hybrid WDA spreadsheet, which I found to be a relatively easy thing to do.
At least one "big name" supplier of tax computation software has failed to supply a version capable of working out AIAs and hybrid WDAs when it was required.
So, while I have colleagues using this trash commercial Corporation Tax software (that produces 8-page CT comps and takes three times as much time to prepare compared to Excel comps) I am carrying on easily producing 1-page Excel CT computations that can actually deal with the 1 April 2008 onwards tax computations.
The sofware supplier I refer to perhaps appropriately has a name rhyming with "rage". Just because its a big name doesn't mean its a good product. A big name simply can lead to a lemming-like rush to buy such software.
