AIA VS ACCA

AIA VS ACCA

Didn't find your answer?

I am grateful to the gentlemen who sincerely attended my question & enabled me to avoid ICEA. I shall now request for guidance on what is status of AIA qualification in the eyes of employers although I know that British Law authorizes International Accountants to function as company Auditor. AIA qualification is available in Pakistan. Is it equally good as ACCA.

AIA
I must admit I have never heard of the AIA.

I dont think with the ACCA you will go wrong - its very well recognised.

I say that as a member and employer.

AIA
Being a Fellow of the Association of International Accountants I find it a more understood qualification for my purposes. The description worldwide is obvious unlike say `chartered, certified`. My practice is an international one dealing with A-list celebrities and some of the largest film production companies and talent agencies in the world. To them an International Accountant does exactly what it says on the tin. Much will depend on your aims and aspirations on which is best for you.

Well I certainly say ACCA. As it is widely recognised while AIA I never heard of it to be honest.
