We have recently purchased Sage Practice Solutions, but are beginning to regret it.

When we update invoices in Sage L50 that have been prepared in SPS or on Sage L50, different amounts are posted to the sales ledger and the invoice details and values change. This does not happen to all invoices but a good number. The only way we know what the original or correct invoice value is is to print a copy of the invoice once prepared. So much for a paperless office. There is a long winded way to correct this but the posting routine and record keeping now seems to be totally unreliable and does not necessarily put things right. We have not been able to send out statements for 2 months.

We originally sent data over to Sage on 19th December 2008, and were told that we would get it looked at and returned later that day - we are still waiting! We again telephoned Sage on 5th January 2009, and were promised a call back from a senior chap who was examining the data. Again we have heard nothing.

Has anyone else had any similar problems?

SPS
Sage rang us recently to check our versions of SPS & Line50. We have had no problems, but it seems that there is a conflict between 2 of the versions that causes incorrect data. Maybe this is the problem?
