Articles provide for audit

I have a client whose Articles of Association refer to the Appointment of auditors and the need for accounts to be audited.

The company manages a property in return for a service charge and the audit adds no value to the user - very few transactions and all agreed to invoice/documentation.

The year end is 31 December are we able to pass a resolution to remove the need for audit on the 2010 accounts?

This would save the company expenditure and help reduce the service charge?
