Audit software

Audit software

Didn't find your answer?

We are looking for a multi (20) user system which just produces a tailored audit program based on a set of variables entered (company status, year end date... etc)

Most systems I have seen have loads of extras like lead schedule production and links to trial balances which we currently do perfectly well in XL.

PROaudit audit automation
I recommend you look at PROaudit. This does have much more than you have asked for, lead schedules, risk analysis, automated programme and checklist generation, on line completion and full on screen electronic audit file, but you can use it in any way you wish.

You can create your own master packs that take advantage of as much or as little of the functionality you require.

For further information e-mail [email protected], or visit www.proacc.co.uk.

Auditplus
Try auditplus - www.auditplus.co.uk
I'm not sure if it has lead schedules etc, but if it has you don't have to print or use them - just use the audit programmes.
There is also a disclosure checklist.

Sounds like this could be a job for ExFiles DataLink
Alec - the closest thing I've seen to what you describe is ExFiles DataLink. It is a data conversion system (with built in sampling and audit trail) based around the MS Access database that can output to a number of accounts prep systems, or Excel.

There are none of the frills that you get with full blown accounts prep systems, but when Peter Hool demonstrated it to me, it looked like you could pick and choose any selection of source data types to filter through to your output system.

ExFiles DataLink is available in the AccountingWEB Resource Centre:
https://www.accountingweb.co.uk/common/partners/aweb/datalink/

The starting price is £100 for a standalone version, but it can be networked - and you can take a look at a free evaluation online. Ring Jeremy Arnold on 0117 915 9619 if you want to find out about multi-user licence fees.

Good luck in your search!
