AWeb Irritation

AWeb Irritation

Didn't find your answer?

I don't think this is really the place for this question but it's one that really winds me up.

When I am looking at an AWeb page and I click on "Favourites", "Search" or "History" bringing up the menu on at the side of my browser, the page refreshes. Why does it do this? I haven't come across any other site that does this.

It can be annoying when I click on a "Favourite" too quickly as the link doesn't work while the page is refreshing.

Me too.
I must admit that I find this a bit irritating too. Especially if I'm half way through typing out an answer. When the page refreshes I lose what I've typed.

Eh?
Thanks Cassandra. I followed your instructions but was not given the option to simply deactivate Active-X. I disabled all of the Active-X options I was given but I still have the same problem.

Any more ideas?

Disable your Active-X control and try again
In Outlook, if that is the browser you are using:-
Look in "Tools"
Go to "Internet options"
Go to "Security"
Go to "Custom"
Disable "Active -X"
