Can a single share be joinly owned by H and W?

Can a company with a single share be joinly owned by husband and wife and hence dividend declared on the single share split 50:50?

I assume that it's registered in their joint names? What gets declared on the annual return to Companies House?

.........and it is also possible for the "joint ownership" to apply and not be registered as such at Companies House, on the basis that one individual (the husband or the wife) holds the share as bare trustee for the beneficial ownership of both parties jointly.
